Government Degree College, Gambhiraopet was established in 1975 under the Government of Telangana with the vision of providing quality higher education to students from all backgrounds. Located in Gambhiraopet, Rajanna (Sirisilla) district, and affiliated to Satavahana University, we started with just 50 students and 5 faculty members, and have grown into one of the premier educational institutions in the region.
Over the decades, our college has expanded its infrastructure, academic programs, and faculty strength. We now serve over 2,000 students across various undergraduate programs and have a dedicated team of 80+ qualified faculty members.
Our college has been recognized for academic excellence, with numerous students achieving top ranks in university examinations. We have also received accreditation from NAAC with 'A' grade, reflecting our commitment to quality education.
